In addition to performances, many educational activities take place every day at the Lubuski Theater. Almost 120 workshops and theater lessons took place in the 2023/2024 season!
Educators Joanna Marcinkowska and Natalia Walczak-Wachowska (in the photos) had the pleasure of conducting classes for approximately 2,300 preschoolers, primary school children, high school students, as well as students and adults - not only from Zielona Góra, but also from the surrounding towns. Workshops and theater lessons give participants a lot of joy and are very popular - the news about them spreads, in a sense, "by word of mouth", thanks to which subsequent groups of children and teenagers can visit unknown corners of the theater or, for example, try puppet animation.
The theater is open to all interested organized groups, including those with special needs. The regular participants of the classes include pupils of the "Dalej Razem" Kindergarten with Departments for Children with Autism, as well as children and youth from special schools. This season, we were also visited by children from the Children's Home in Klenica. It gives us great joy that the participants feel so great with us! Their guardians and teachers are also satisfied and willingly return to the theater with subsequent groups, which proves the very positive, developing impact of theater classes.

Holidays at the Lubuski Theater are ahead of us. We invite summer camps and children spending the summer in the city (groups of 5-30 people) to the Lubuski Theater for theater workshops. While playing together, you will learn the basics of working with an object, develop your imagination and body awareness. With the help of props and costume elements, you will feel like actors taking on a role.
Or maybe you are interested in the backstage of the theater? Do you want to hear stories and anecdotes from behind the scenes? Look at the world of theater from the other side? Nothing is lost - we invite you to theater lessons. While walking through the mysterious labyrinths of the Lubuskie Theater, you will learn about the construction of the stage, theatrical competitions and the work of people who are not visible during the performance.
